Ipswich star reveals why Leicester City has an edge over Leeds United.

Leeds have beaten Ipswich twice this season, scoring eight goals, while Leicester have only drawn with the Tractor Boys, but Conor Chaplin believes Enzo Maresca’s men are the better side. Leicester City have an advantage over Leeds United as the top team in the Championship because they make opponents feel inferior, according to Ipswich Town’s Conor Chaplin. This season, City was unable to defeat the Tractor Boys, with both games finishing in 1-1 draws, with Ipswich scoring  late. Meanwhile, Leeds have beaten Ipswich twice, first 4-3 in August and then 4-0 in December. Despite the results, offensive midfielder Chaplin believes City are the superior team because of how they make you feel during games. Leicester and Leeds face off at Elland Road on Friday night, with nine points separating  them at the top of the division. Chaplin told Talksport:  “It probably sounds foolish given we were hammered at Leeds and drew twice with Leicester, but I think Leicester [are superior] in terms of how they make you feel on the pitch. “Possession makes you feel inferior without the ball, therefore Leicester is probably the cause. But we’ve lost twice to Leeds, and we failed to put a glove on them in the second game. “They’re both really good teams, with really good players, but Leicester with their style of play make you feel very inferior.” Ipswich may be hoping City beats Leeds on Friday (8 p.m. kickoff). If they merely get a draw, the Tractor Boys  can  return  to the top two with a victory over Birmingham on Saturday.

Lee Kang-in, a footballer, has issued a personal apology to his  teammate and Korea’s national team captain, Son  Heung-min. “I did something I should never have done,” Lee admitted in a contrite apology. Lee, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, also issued a written apology on his Instagram account on Wednesday. “I have severely disappointed the entire team, particularly Heung-min, and football fans. “I met with Heung-min to sincerely apologize,” he added. Lee and Son, two Korean football icons, have been at odds over the Korean national team, who lost 0-2 to Jordan in  the AFC Asian Cup semifinals on February 7. The two got into a fight, with some sources alleging Lee swung at Tottenham’s Son, under circumstances that have yet to be definitively explained. Lee’s spokeswoman disputed accusations that he struck the team captain. “My irresponsible and thoughtless behavior during the Asian Cup has disappointed many people. I felt it was vital for me to apologize to Heung-min in person. We had a lengthy chat, which made me think on myself and comprehend the responsibility he holds as team captain. Spurs are looking for Ezequiel Fernandez, a solid defensive midfield option. Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in Ezequiel Fernandez, according to Boca Noticias. The Lilywhites  intend to strengthen their midfield unit in the forthcoming transfer window. Ange Postecoglou attempted it in January but failed to complete it. After signing Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin, the Australian manager focuses on his midfield. Ezequiel Fernandez’s ability and age appeal to the Spurs boss. Postecoglou is far more interested in young players than his predecessors. The former Celtic manager wants to include young players in his Tottenham plans. Fernandez is a solid defensive  midfielder who has never left Boca Juniors (save for a brief stint with Tigre). The 21-year-old has worked his way up the ranks at the Argentine club, becoming one of its most important  personalities. Tottenham Hotspur have an interest in signing Ezequiel Fernandez, an Argentine defensive midfielder from Boca Juniors. According to Fichajes, the 21-year-old South American midfielder is on their radar, and they are eager to do everything possible to bring him to the club. The North London club has done well in recent months in terms of signing excellent young players, and it appears that they are eager to expand their pool of youthful potential. Fernandez is highly regarded in South America and, with the appropriate supervision, has the potential to become a crucial player for Tottenham. The 21-year-old will provide defensive cover for the team, and his presence will allow Ange Postecoglou to rotate crucial players like Yves Bissouma. Diego Llorente, who was loaned to AS Roma for a second time by Leeds United in the summer, is vying for a permanent move away from Elland Road. The centre-back experienced a lot of delight under José Mourinho, who was the one who wanted him in the first place, and is hoping to do the same with Daniele De Rossi now in charge.   An item on Tuesday stated that the Serie A club was considering making the move permanent in order to profit from the Leeds player, and while Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday did not go as far, they did insinuate that a transfer was on the cards.   Everything depends on if Llorente can convince his new management, and he will have a ‘vital chance’ to do so in the Europa League on Thursday, when he will start against Feyenoord. Gazzetta dello Sport believes he faces a ‘uphill’ battle to stay, but some strong performances could help him persuade his club and De Rossi to’redeem him’ from Leeds. According to the Italian daily, it could all come down to narrow margins, and it may only take ‘one match, maybe even two’ to get what he wants, with a 50% probability of playing for AS Roma next season.
