Aidy White claimed that Leeds United outclassed Ipswich Town in every aspect of the game in their 4-0 win at Elland Road.
Leeds dominated Ipswich at home, despite starting the game ten points behind the visitors in the Championship table.
The Yorkshire giants had gone two games without a win before Saturday’s encounter, but they added to their promotion credentials with a huge win over one of the greatest teams in the Championship.
White emphasised that Leeds outplayed the league’s second-placed club in every aspect of the game, and that every player stepped up to the plate on the big day.
The former Leeds player stated that every single Leeds player on the pitch was at the peak of their game.
“Ipswich were outperformed on every aspect of the pitch today,” the former White stated on BBC Radio Leeds.
“The players from Leeds really stepped up today, particularly in the first 45 minutes.”
“I don’t think there is a player out on that pitch where you can’t say ‘that is a solid nine out of ten performance’.”
Leeds are presently seven points behind Ipswich in the league and will play Preston North End at Deepdale on Boxing Day.
