Tottenham Hotspur travel to Brighton on Thursday, and Ange Postecoglou will have to make some important decisions over his starting team.
Spurs defeated Everton 2-1 on Saturday, thanks to goals from Richarlison and Heung-Min Son.
But it wasn’t all plain sailing for Tottenham, with Everton unlucky not to take at least a point from the game.
Postecoglou was forced to make a substitution at halftime, with Eric Dier replacing the injured Cristian Romero.
Oliver Skipp made his first Premier League start since the season opener against Brentford.
The 23-year-old performed admirably on the day, providing plenty of energy in the middle of the park. However, we believe Ange Postecoglou will start Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the No6 position on Thursday evening.
Tottenham Hotspur’s predicted XI vs. Brighton
Postecoglou may be obliged to make a change at the back after admitting Romero felt ‘tightness’ in his hamstring against Everton.
However, the Australian coach will welcome back Destiny Udogie, who was suspended for Saturday’s game.
Postecoglou would be able to move Emerson Royal to center-back with Ben Davies, with Pedro Porro and Udogie at full-back.
Spurs failed to dominate Everton on Saturday, despite Postecoglou’s choice of a midfield three of Pape Matar Sarr, Dejan Kulusevski, and Skipp.
After replacing Sarr, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg came off the bench in the second half but had little time to make an effect.
Postecoglou chose Skipp over the £15 million man in North London, but he may prefer Hojbjerg for the arduous trip to the Amex Stadium.
Spurs will be able to name an unchanged front three, with Heung-Min Son, Richarlison, and Brennan Johnson all starting in the previous three games.
