Leeds United transfer news, with the January window opening tomorrow.
The following are the most recent Leeds United transfer speculations for Sunday, December 31, 2023.
Iraola is tight-lipped about Brooks.
When asked about the future of Leeds United-linked David Brooks, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola remained tight-lipped. Both Leeds and Southampton have been linked with the Welsh international ahead of the January transfer window, but Iraola claims no decision has been made.
“It is not about one individual situation,” Iraola remarked when asked about Brooks’ future. It sometimes comes down to what they believe. David came on the other day and played quite well.
“Some players are probably not getting the minutes they desire.” They must consult with the club and choose the best choice for everyone. Sometimes one will depart since everyone believes it is the greatest thing. They will occasionally stay. But, for now, before the market starts, I cannot and will not discuss individual cases.”
Gnonto still desired
Willy Gnonto of Leeds United has been linked with a move to Serie A by Lazio, Fiorentina, and Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy. Gnonto has not been guaranteed a starting spot under Daniel Farke, despite appearing in the 1-0 defeat to West Brom.
According to Il Romanista, he might go for less than £10 million, which seems implausible considering the player’s interest as recently as last summer and the fact that he is a regular in the Italian national squad.
