Manchester United suffers a blow after a £30 million target chooses Tottenham Hotspur – Report

Manchester United were reported to be contemplating a bid for Genoa’s Radu Dragusin last night, but the latest news today does not auger well for the Red Devils.

According to today’s edition of Corriere della SeraTottenham are ‘one step’ away from signing the Romanian international during the January transfer window.

According to a well-known Italian media outlet, Dragusin has agreed to join Spurs and has already’said yes’ to them.

To complete the signing, the north Londoners must agree on a fee with the Italian club.

Genoa, according to CdS, is seeking a fee of £30 million (35 million euros) from the sale of their treasured asset.

Tottenham, on the other hand, has so far orally placed a bid worth 23 million eurosNapoli is also in the running, but they will not go above 20 million euros.

Man United sorely need to strengthen their defence this month, and it is a significant blow for them that a brilliant defender like Dragusin is on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur, who are already eight points ahead of them in the Premier League table.

The Red Devils must act quickly and enhance their squad during the winter transfer window, or their opponents will widen the gap even further.
