According to Foot Mercato, Leeds United defender Diego Llorente (30) wants to complete a move to Paris Saint-Germain and hence wants his loan at AS Roma to be cut short.
Since Milan Skriniar‘s injury earlier this month, PSG has been looking for a center-back. Multiple options have been considered, and inquiries have been made for Edmond Tapsoba, Nayef Aguerd, and Maxence Lacroix, although the club understood that more expensive targets such as Jean-Clair Todibo and Leny Yoro would not be possible this month.
Les Parisiens, on the other hand, have been limited by their modest €20 million budget. One of the more realistic targets is Llorente. The Spaniard, who previously worked with current PSG manager Luis Enrique while he was the manager of Spain’s national side, is eager to make the switch. Llorente’s agency has asked if their client’s loan at Roma can be shortened. The Serie A club is open to the proposal, but first wants to sign a low-cost alternative.
Llorente‘s likely return to home club Leeds has opened the door for him to join PSG later this month.
