Paul O’Keefe has expressed concerns regarding James Maddison’s possible return for the upcoming game against Manchester City.
Maddison has been sidelined since November with an ankle issue, missing 11 games in all.
In his first 11 Spurs appearances, he scored three goals and provided six assists, establishing himself as a key player for Postecoglou both on and off the pitch.
According to Matt Law, the player expects to return on Friday, but Paul O’Keefe believes otherwise.
When questioned on X about his likely return, he stated that while Maddison is reaching full health, the match against Manchester City may be too soon.
He also delivered a disappointing update on Giovani Lo Celso, who sustained a hamstring injury in the FA Cup win over Burnley, implying that there is currently no word on his recovery.
O’Keefe also stated that Manor Solomon is now the closest to returning.
