Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Sebastian Szymański from Fenerbahçe, according to a Turkish report.
He has scored 12 goals and 14 assists in 33 appearances this season, playing primarily as an attacking midfielder and occasionally in the middle of the pitch. As a result, European clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in him.
According to Star Gazetesi, Tottenham scouts watched the 24-year-old play against Samsunspor on Sunday and will report on him.
The Poland international played 80 minutes in his team’s 1-1 draw, but did not score or assist.
Ange Postecoglou is reportedly’very interested’ in the player and hopes to have him available next season. The north London club ‘will do everything necessary’ to obtain Szymański’s services, according to reports.
The Yellow Canaries paid €9.75 million to sign the Pole from Dynamo Moscow last summer and offered him a deal until 2027. According to Star Gazetesi, Fenerbahçe’s management expects to receive €35 million from his sale, which is very optimistic.
Tottenham will almost definitely not meet the request, although it is outside of the asking price range.
