Leeds united rivals Hull city to the signing of Spezia goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski

Bartlomiej Dragowski, a goalkeeper for Spezia, is reportedly wanted by Leeds United, but the team won’t pursue the deal unless Illan Meslier departs.

With the club having already approved a few departures, the Whites have a lot of work ahead of them in the January window as we prepare for the return of Championship action this weekend.
Although Daniel Farke has been eager to downplay the urgency of making reinforcements before the transfer season closes, it is evident that changes are needed.

Bartlomiej Dragowski, goalkeeper for Spezia, has been linked to a January transfer to Elland Road, even though the team appears to have adequate coverage when everyone is available.

Dragowski, who was Ethan Ampadu’s teammate at the Italian team, is currently playing in Serie B after his team was demoted the previous season.

The Pole has just 18 months left on his Spezia contract, which is set to expire in 2025. Leeds and Hull City, two teams vying for promotion, are reportedly interested in signing him. The 26-year-old will not be signed by the Tigers this month, according to journalist Dominik Schneider. The team has previously pursued deal for Ivor Pandur, of Fortuna Sittard.

Liam Rosenior’s team seems to be having wage problems, but Leeds does not seem to have any, and they may look to sign him if Illan Meslier departs, given Celta Vigo’s continued interest from the summer. Schneider claims that Dragowski is paid €1 million (about £861,000) year, or roughly £16,500 week.
