Farke said he doesn’t expect much movement for Leeds. When asked what his squad required, he replied, “First and foremost, many points. My emphasis is only on the next four games.

“I have to chat a lot about potential transfers, incomings, and outgoings throughout the summer. We’re in a phase now when we simply want to focus on the next games, and we’ll talk about everything else in January because I can’t escape it, and we’ll discuss it anyhow. I foresee a rather quiet January for us. Right now, I’m just concerned with the games.”

What Jurgen Klopp stated

The Reds manager earlier praised Ramsay’s talent and potential. “He [Ramsay] is an outstanding talent,” Klopp commented in September 2022. “We scouted him; I watched a lot of Calvin’s games, and he did incredibly well.

Bradley and Klopp

“For his young age and the manner he plays, he is a true player who is fully involved in everything. A true talent, I was very happy about it, and I am still excited about him, but when he arrived here, he had a back problem and has been out [hurt] ever since.

“Now, I’ve seen him two or three times in training, but only during the first three sessions. We now know a lot more about him as a youngster: he was exceptional, well-educated, pleasant, extremely confident, and a truly good boy. That’s all. We’ve started working.

“How it is for everyone in that age bracket, the sky is the limit. I’m not sure where his career will go, but he had a great start. Now we had a little disruption, better now than next year or whatever, it is not done, we are over this, and now we have to make sure we can work as much as [possible] with him to give him the best possible career.

Klopp’s helper revealed Ramsay’s plan.

Pep Lijnders has discussed Ramsay’s potential transfer and Liverpool’s ambitions for the defender. He repeated that a loan may work “wonders” for his progress.

“Him [Ramsay] and Nate are great examples. There is interest, which is beneficial. We must make the best decision for the player after consulting with the agency, himself, and the clubs.

“He needs game time; he needs to play and be successful. That’s why I appreciated Fabio [Carvalho]’s move to Hull City alongside Tyler [Morton]. Matt Newberry, our head of loans, really needs a vacation after this! These boys all have promise; otherwise, they would not be here, but they need to take the proper road. “A good loan can work wonders.”
