Tottenham Hotspur has been the most active team during the January transfer window thus far.
Spurs have already signed two players this month, while their rivals stall and stutter, and a third could be on the way soon.
Indeed, according to George Sessions on The Spurs Chat Podcast, Antonio Nusa would most likely join with Tottenham before the end of the transfer window.
Spurs were connected with a bid for the £26 million man last week, and while the trail has gone cold in recent days, Sessions says there’s no reason to worry about the move, stating that he still expects it to go through.
Sessions expects Nusa to sign.
The journalist talked about the young attacker.
“The second half of the window was focused on him. I wouldn’t be overly concerned that the news broke last week and nothing has happened since. I would not worry too much. Spurs certainly want Antonio Nusa, and they were discussed in the summer, so he’s been on their radar for a while,” Sessions said.
“If I had to put my neck on the line, I’d think Spurs will probably get this done, especially since this is a loan that benefits Club Brugge.
What a window
This would be an excellent way to wrap up Tottenham’s wonderful transfer window.
Spurs have demonstrated this month that they mean business by backing their manager at a time when other clubs are hesitant to put their hands in their pockets, which should pay off towards the conclusion of the season.
Spurs have done everything they can this month to prepare for the club’s short and long-term future, and the addition of Nusa might be the cherry on top.
