“Won’t be available” – Ange confirmed the two will miss the game against Brentford

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon will not be available for the match against Brentford.

Spurs have suffered a number of injuries this season, with roughly 21 players sidelined.

However, nearly all of them have returned to fitness, and Spurs are on the verge of having a fully fit squad.

However, Lo Celso and Sessegnon remain absent.

Giovani Lo Celso

The Argentine sustained a hamstring injury during the game against Burnley and has been out since.

The extent of his ailment was unknown, and O Keefe recently stated that Lo Celso’s injury remains a mystery.

He missed the games against Manchester United and Manchester City, but was anticipated to return for the Brentford match.

However, Ange has confirmed that he will not be available for the midweek game either.

The Australian has also ruled Ryan Sessegnon out of the encounter against Brentford.

Ryan Sessegnon

Speaking ahead of the game tomorrow, Ange remarked (via The Spurs Express)

“No, those men [Lo Celso and Sessegnon] will not be available. So the situation is almost the same as the last game.”

Sessegnon had recently returned to action after being sidelined since the summer due to a hamstring injury suffered during training.

He returned against Burnley, coming on for the final ten minutes, although it was hardly his best cameo.

It was later reported that he had picked up another knock, forcing him to miss the game at Old Trafford as well as the FA Cup match against Manchester City.

While the absence of the two will not have a significant influence on the club, Tottenham remains concerned about the injuries.

They have a difficult schedule ahead of them, with three games in ten days, and Ange will need as many players as possible.
