Tottenham is ‘opening talks’ to buy a South American attacker from Euro giants for £43 million

Tottenham make contact to sign Barcelona’s Raphinha

Tottenham Hotspur have begun conversations with Raphinha’s agents over a prospective summer transfer from Barcelona, according to Fichajes.

According to journalist Alex Pintanel, the 27-year-old winger is content with his current club and wishes to stay there. However, Barcelona is experiencing financial troubles and may want to cash in at the end of the season.

According to Fichajes, Tottenham has now ‘started conversations’ with the player’s entourage to discuss a possible move to North London this summer.

The former Leeds United winger has four goals and seven assists in all competitions for Barcelona this season, and he may be a valuable addition to Tottenham‘s attack if a deal can be reached.

Raphinha is capable of operating on either wing and would bring goals and creativity to the team. The South American attacker is at the top of his career and may make an immediate impact in the Premier League thanks to his previous experience at Leeds.

Raphinha

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can strike a sensible agreement with the Spanish club for the £43 million-rated Brazilian international.

Spurs must earn Champions League football.

Saudi clubs are also allegedly monitoring his position. Tottenham must achieve Champions League status if they are to recruit players of his calibre in the summer.

Raphinha

Tottenham have improved significantly under their current manager, and they will aim for a top-four finish this season. They hope to challenge for big trophies next year, and they will require high-quality players to compete with clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

Someone like Raphinha would undoubtedly bring more cutting edge in the final third and help them compete at the highest level, making him a fantastic signing if Spurs can pull it out.
