Son Heung-min has apologized after a fight with teammate Lee Kang-in, which resulted in a dislocated finger.
The two had a disagreement earlier in February while representing their respective countries in the Asia Cup. South Korea has just defeated to Jordan and was eliminated from the tournament.
According to reports, Tottenham star Son, who is South Korea’s captain, was upset that several of the younger players, such as Lee Kang-in, had left a team meal early to go play table tennis.
When Son tried to warn them off, he and Lee got into a fight. Some of the other players attempted to stop them, but the Spurs star ended up with a dislocated finger, causing outrage in his home country.
Son, who has scored 12 goals for Ange Postecoglou’s team this season, wrote on Instagram:
