Tottenham will try to cut the gap on the top four with a victory over Crystal Palace at the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon.
Spurs enter the game five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa, with a game in hand, and will look to close the gap with a win today. Tottenham need to bounce back to winning ways after losing 2-1 at home to Wolves last time out, and they should be well rested after not playing since February 17.
Ange Postecoglou has made several changes from the team that lost to Wolves, but goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario remains in the starting lineup following an outstanding first season in the Premier League.
Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven start in the midst of Tottenham‘s defence, with Destiny Udogie returning to left-back. In the absence of Pedro Porro, Emerson Royal continues to play right back.
Yves Bissouma remains in midfield and is partnered by Rodrigo Bentancur. Papa Sarr moves to the bench, where he joins Oliver Skipp and Pieere-Emile Hojbjerg.
James Maddison starts in attacking midfield, while Hueng-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski maintain their positions in attack. Richarlison is out, therefore Timo Werner gets recalled ahead of Brenan Johnson.
Here’s the confirmed lineups:
