Noni Madueke believes the player Tottenham sold last year is much better than Trent Alexander-Arnold

Noni Madueke looks to be a great fan of the man Tottenham Hotspur sold last year, ranking him higher than Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Ange Postecoglou has revolutionised Tottenham as a club. The Australian has done an outstanding job since taking command of them before the start of the season, and he deserves high accolades.

Tottenham‘s style of play has entirely changed this season. They were a boring, defensive side when Antonio Conte was at the helm, but today, Postecoglou has turned them one of the most interesting teams in the whole Premier League.

Trent Alexander-Arnold
That makes Spurs such an intriguing team to be a part of, and some players who left last year may be rethinking their decision today.

Noni Madueke rates the former Tottenham player higher than Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Tottenham has had a number of talented players on its roster over the years.

Spurs have gone close to winning trophies on several times, but for one reason or another, they have been unable to cross the finish line.

Son, Dejan and Kane

The North Londoners will not win anything this season either, but if they had kept one player who left last summer, things may have been different.

That guy is Harry Kane, who has been one of the top players in the Bundesliga since his big-money move to Bayern Munich last summer.

Chelsea star Noni Madueke, who spent four years at Tottenham, has seen Kane on numerous times and has now put him higher than Liverpool‘s Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Madueke was asked to rank ten players blindly in a TikTok video posted by Pro Direct Soccer. He ranked Alexander-Arnold fourth, followed by Kane third.

Harry Kane versus Heung-min Son in 2023/24

Harry Kane and Heung-min Son were a lethal combination at Tottenham Hotspur.

The two players virtually had a telepathic connection on the pitch, which helped Spurs smash many opponents when they attacked.

Since Kane’s departure from Tottenham, Son has had to step in, and the South Korean has done well. He has 14 goals and eight assists in 26 games, which is a good return.

Kane, on the other hand, is at a higher level. Since joining Bayern, the Englishman has 37 goals and 12 assists in 35 matches.

Kane and Son will most certainly have one thing in common at the end of the season: neither will have won a trophy.
