The midfielder is no longer interested in playing for Leeds United

Marc Roca, a Leeds United midfielder, is currently on loan with Real Betis in La Liga this season and could join them permanently in the summer.

According to a Diario de Sevilla article published last Thursday, Real Betis are unsure whether to commit to purchasing Leeds United‘s Marc Roca in the summer. Roca, who has been on loan with Betis since last summer, has been a key player for Manuel Pellegrini this season.

During his loan stay with Betis, the 27-year-old made 24 La Liga appearances, scoring two goals and assisting twice.

Since joining the Yorkshire club for £10.9 million in the summer of 2022, the Spanish midfielder has made 33 appearances. And it’s probable that he won’t add to that score when his loan expires.

Marc Roca, a Leeds United midfielder, wants to remain at Real Betis.

Estadio Deportivo now has an unusual perspective, suggesting that Real Betis is interested in keeping the Leeds-owned player for the foreseeable future.

Daniel Farke‘s side is presently second in the rankings, just one point ahead of third-placed Leicester City, who have a game in hand.

If Leeds fail to regain promotion to the Premier League, Betis may prolong the 27-year-old’s loan stint. This scenario makes it ‘easier’ for Real Betis to keep Roca. However, if Leeds are promoted, the two teams will need to negotiate.

Roca wants to stay with Betis, and the Spanish club feels the same way. The potential of a transfer in the forthcoming window is dependent on Leeds’ final Championship position.

As a result, Real Betis is closely monitoring Championship developments in order to organise their next action with reference to Roca.
