Ange confirmed the Tottenham trio will not play for the club again this season

Ange Postecoglou has announced that Tottenham’s injured trio of Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegnon, and Fraser Forster will not play again this season.

All three players have been out with long-term ailments. Manor Solomon has been sidelined since October of last year owing to a meniscus issue in his right knee.

While he is anticipated to return in a few weeks, Tottenham will prioritise his recovery for the following season, ruling him out for the duration of this season.

Fraser Forster, the backup custodian, has been out of action since mid-February due to a foot injury suffered during training.

Despite initial hopes for a quick recovery, complications have pushed his return date back another five weeks, effectively keeping him out for the season.

Ryan Sessegnon‘s case is possibly the most tragic, as the youthful winger has suffered from recurring hamstring ailments. After briefly returning in January, he experienced another setback during an FA Cup encounter, followed by a hamstring injury in February that necessitated surgery. As a result, Sessegnon is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Ange Postecoglou admits that the trio’s season is ended.

Postecoglou addressed the subject in an interview with SPURSPLAY, expressing regret with the trio’s extended absence while acknowledging their ongoing rehabilitation efforts.

Ryan Sessegnon

He said:

Manor, Frase and Sess are unlikely to be involved again this year, but they are in rehab.”

Among these, Ryan Sessegnon‘s future at the club is questionable, with many advocating for him to be sold during the forthcoming transfer window.
