Ten Hag states that two Man United players “will stay” and that he is “alert” for a “wonderful” transfer opportunity.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Cristiano Ronaldo “will stay” at Manchester United at least through the end of January, according to Erik ten Hag

Talk of Wan-Bissaka and Ronaldo leaving Man Utd has been in a battle all summer.

At the start of the 2022–23 season, Ten Hag favored Diogo Dalot over Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka has recently been associated with West Ham and Crystal Palace, but he won’t move until a replacement is found.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo eagerly leaves the team and rejoin the Champions League.

The forward has been connected to numerous clubs around Europe, but no offer has come in before Thursday night’s transfer deadline.

The transfers of Martin and Antony Dubravka from Ajax and Newcastle United are about to be finalized by Manchester United.

According to Ten Hag, United’s summer business will be finished once their contracts with Antony and Dubravka are signed:

Ten Hag told reporters on Wednesday(Details), “I suppose so for this window, it will be the end [no more moves after Dubravka signed], but when there is a wonderful possibility you always have to be vigilant as a top club” (via Manchester Evening News).
“Aaron [Wan-Bissaka] is going to stay. This group will operate from September through at least January.

He continued, “It is obvious. We require talented athletes. To maintain consistency, you need to cover more games.

In the Premier League, Man Utd has won two straight games and has six points after four games.

On Thursday night, the Red Devils return to play as they take on a winless Leicester City team.

In the upcoming weeks, Ten Hag believes his side “has a nice base” to work upon:

“I consider it a start; we have a solid foundation. This is the absolute bare minimum that we can provide.

“I was pleased to see the turnaround, and we must maintain that, to maintain the spirit and winning mentality because you need it if you want to have a successful season,” said the player.

He continued, “I’ve watched a few games and we also know from the previous seasons how good they are and I think you can also see that in the performances of Leicester City.

They play fantastic football, so we have to be good to win there. Their identity is obvious.
