Ange makes four changes to the Spurs starting lineup against Burnley, dropping Kulusevski

The Swede delivered a dreadful display against Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League season has been marked by significant ups and downs.

New manager Ange Postecoglou guided them to a fairly outstanding ten-game unbeaten streak at the start of the season, but his side has lost four games in a row ahead of the encounter against Burnley.

In their defence, the Lilywhites have faced Newcastle United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool in those games.
However, there will be no excuses if they lose more points at home to the Clarets, especially with Champions League qualifying still a remote prospect.

With that in mind, the former Celtic manager is set to make some changes to his team to help them recover their winning ways, and here are the four changes he could make from the side that lost at Anfield on Sunday.
1. GK: Guglielmo Vicario.
The first name on the squad sheet and the man between the sticks will come as no surprise, as summer addition Guglielmo Vicario has been excellent this season, starting 100% of league games.

Being outmuscled by opposing players on set-pieces remains a concern, but the Italian’s shot-stopping has been impressive enough to offset that disadvantage, and six clean sheets in his debut season isn’t bad either.

2. RB: Pedro Porro

Pedro Porro, a 24-year-old Spaniard, continues to play on the right side of the defence.

This season, the three-capped international has started 91% of league games and has one goal and seven assists in 32 appearances.

3. CB: Cristian Romero
Cristian Romero, the World Cup winner and fan favourite, will start alongside the Spaniard.

The Argentine centre-back is frequently regarded as reckless, but his enormous passion is what distinguishes him from other players, and aside from a few lapses, he’s been very consistent this season, picking up only six yellow cards and one red in 31 appearances.

Furthermore, he has appeared to be a more potent goal threat in recent games, and he should have had more than one against Arsenal a few weeks ago.

4. CB: Micky van de Ven.
His defensive partner, Micky van de Ven, will be alongside Romero.

Despite joining from Wolfsburg in the summer as a relative unknown to most Premier League fans, the Dutch centre-back has swiftly established himself as one of the finest in the competition, thanks in large part to his impressive pace.

In February, the 23-year-old set a Premier League record of 37.38 km/h against Brentford, making him the fastest player ever.
