Tottenham is approved to finalise an incredible £110 million two-deal; with the sale of Richarlison financing a potent new front three.

Tottenham has the go-ahead to sign Raphinha, a winger for Barcelona, and a speculated Richarlison sale might open the door for the recruitment of a £50 million striker, creating the potential for an explosive new front three in north London.

Postecoglou, the manager of Spurs, has urged his team to make significant roster changes this summer. An all-action central midfielder is also being considered by the Australians, along with another reinforcement at center-half.

Whether to exercise the approximately £15 million option to purchase Timo Werner’s loan from RB Leipzig needs to be decided. Moreover, if Richarlison is signed by the Saudi Pro League, a position in the forefront of the attack may become available shortly.

The Brazil international’s fortunes have been mixed since his £60 million move from Everton. Richarlison has 11 Premier League goals this season, with nine coming during a hot stretch either side of the turn of the year.

According to the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old is being pursued by Saudi club Al-Hilal. They are the team who inquired about Richarlison’s availability in January, and their curiosity has not waned.

Tottenham are ‘expected to listen to bids’ and can expect to recuperate all of their investment if they decide to cash in.

Richarlison’s signing at the age of 27 would be considered as a major coup for the SPL, as he is presumably in the prime of his career.

If Richarlison leaves, the proceeds from the sale will be used to sign other players. According to the Sun and Football Insider, two new forwards could join.

Son, Toney, and Raphinha Ange: the new front three?

First, the Sun reports that Tottenham have been given permission to bring Barcelona winger Raphinha back to England.

The left-footed right winger thrived over a brilliant two-year stint at Leeds United before making the dream move to Barcelona in 2022.

Fast forward two years, and Raphinha has been put available for sale as Barcelona seeks to fund their own signing of Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.

Furthermore, with the rise of adolescent sensation Lamine Yamal, the transfer of Raphinha would have little impact on Barcelona.

Barcelona hopes to earn £60 million from the sale of Raphinha, and if Spurs come up with the money, a deal can be struck.

Meanwhile, Football Insider reports that Tottenham are in pole position to capture Brentford striker Ivan Toney.

Toney’s popularity has waned. Arsenal has moved its emphasis to other targets, such as Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee, while links to Chelsea have cooled as the summer window approaches.

West Ham are still interested in Toney, but according to FI, Tottenham are at the top of the list, and a bid of merely £50 million could be enough to secure the deal.

Brentford must sell this summer or risk losing Toney for nothing by 2025. His current contract expires at the end of the 2024/25 season.

With the acquisition of Toney, skipper Son Heung-min would revert to his preferred left flank position. Toney would lead the attack, with Raphinha positioned on the right side.

Tottenham, with James Maddison plotting in behind, would offer a slew of issues for opposing defences if they can complete moves for Raphinha and Toney.
