Pep Guardiola has showered praise on six Tottenham Hotspur players following Manchester City’s crucial victory in north London last night.

Tottenham lost 2-0 to the Premier League winners, thanks to a second-half brace from Erling Haaland.

Ange Postecoglou will take plenty of positives from the game in terms of performance, with Spurs pressing City all the way.

But the Australian manager was incensed in his post-match press conference, claiming Tottenham’s foundations are ‘pretty vulnerable’.

Postecoglou was also seen rowing with a supporter during the game, appearing dissatisfied with the happenings surrounding the match.

Naturally, a Tottenham victory would have given Arsenal the opportunity to defeat Everton at home on Sunday and win the championship.

After the game, Pep Guardiola had nothing but admiration for his team, even if the Spurs manager was obviously not pleased with how the fans responded to City’s triumph.

After the match in north London yesterday night, the City manager gushed about Heung-min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, Pedro Porro, Brennan Johnson, James Maddison, and Pape Matar Sarr in an interview with Sky Sports.
