After the Mail reported that West Ham manager David Moyes could be fired, a reporter close to David Sullivan responded.

Sean Whetstone has replied to a report that West Ham United manager David Moyes is under severe threat of resigning.

The Daily Mail reported this afternoon that West Ham manager David Moyes could be sacked, with tensions mounting over the London Stadium’s contrasting summer transfer window recruitment plans.Something is definitely going on with the Hammers right now. Moyes is looking for experienced Premier League players, whilst incoming director of football Tim Steidten would want to bring in young players from the continent.

So it’s understandable that tensions are high at the London Stadium. And now, one of the Hammers’ senior insiders has spoken out about the situation.Sean Whetstone responded to the Mail’s claim concerning Moyes and escalating tensions at the London Stadium on Twitter this afternoon. And the Hammers ITK stated that sources inside the club have ‘totally refuted’ the claim, emphasizing how well Moyes and Steidten got along at the awards ceremony last night. That’s all well and good, but in my opinion, the evidence will be in the pudding.

West Ham must add at least three or four top-tier players, if not more, before the summer transfer window shuts.Moyes needs to bring in at least two players before the start of the new Premier League season in just eight days! From the outside, the Hammers appear to be in complete disarray at the moment. Despite Sean Whetstone’s denial that David Moyes could lose his position as West Ham manager, something is plainly wrong.I believe we’ll know more about the situation in a month.
