Bryan King feels that Dominic Solanke would “jump at the opportunity” to join Tottenham.
The ex-Spurs scout believes the Bournemouth forward may be a suitable fit for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
It comes after talkSPORT (21 May) reported that Spurs were considering selling Richarlison and replacing him with Solanke.
And King, speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, believes the 26-year-old is open to the move.
“I am sure Solanke would jump at the chance to join Tottenham,” added King.
“He scored 19 Premier League goals last season, which was impressive.
“It’s even more impressive given that he was playing for a mid-table team.”
“A sale of that nature would also be big for Bournemouth, but they would need to replace him of course.”
Dominic Solanke would be an upgrade over Richarlison at Tottenham.
Solanke had a considerably more successful season than Richarlison.
Given that the Englishman is playing for a lower-ranked team but has scored more goals, he appears to be an upgrade over Richarlison in North London.
The Brazilian has struggled with injuries this season, and Daniel Levy may be wise to cash in and utilise the funds to buy a ready-made successor like Solanke.
In other Tottenham news, the club has been advised to offer £50 million for one Brighton player.
