Tottenham are preparing for a hectic summer transfer window.

Spurs have a lot of work to do on their roster this summer, and one player they’ve continually been connected with is Eberechi Eze.

The Crystal Palace star has recently been spotted at Spurs games with his family seated in a box, prompting rumours about a possible move to north London.

Josh Hughes of The Daily Mail spoke on The Spurs Chat Podcast about Eze and his links to Spurs.

Hughes pointed out that Eze has the same agent as Richarlison and James Maddison, and he believes that a deal to sign Eze is possible if Ange Postecoglou approves.

Eberechi Eze’s agreement is ready to be completed.

Hughes discussed Eze and a potential move to Tottenham.

“His agent, he shares an agent with Richarlison for starters at CAA Base and they have a box and that’s a thing,” Hughes stated.

“From what I’ve heard, it’s a large box, and they invite the athletes’ families. I’m trying not to say anything that will get me in trouble, but, wink wink, Spurs may perhaps do something there.

“I mentioned the agency; if the Spurs want to complete the transaction, I’m sure it can be done. If Spurs do sign Eze, they will not be the only club interested, and I believe Ange Postecoglou will make the final decision.

“It was the same with Maddison; he had a CAA Base deal, which was simple to complete, and I wouldn’t be shocked if the contract was reached well in advance of that window.

Of course, with a player like Eze, you could make the deal, but Ange will make the final decision. If Ange says he wants him, I’m confident Eze would seize the opportunity and come to Spurs.”

“Without intending to get myself in trouble, all of the stars are aligned to make that deal. Whether it occurs is up to Ange, the club, and the player, but I hope so; I think Eze is fantastic.”

Tottenham should sign Eze.

Spurs should have little trouble signing Eze this summer, and it would be crazy not to do so.

Eze is one of the Premier League’s most gifted young players, and he fits Ange Postecoglou’s attacking style perfectly.

Of course, a tactical rearrangement would be required to accommodate both Eze and James Maddison in the same team, but if Postecoglou can find a way to use both players, Tottenham will have one of the Premier League’s most dynamic assaults.

This is definitely something to keep an eye on coming into the summer.
