Tottenham Hotspur could lose their €40 million-rated defender to Napoli; who are preparing to speak with the player’s agent.

Tottenham at risk of losing €40 million rated defender to Napoli As stated in the print issue of Turin-based daily

According to Tuttosport and FCInterNews, Tottenham could lose €40 million-rated defender Allesandro Buongiorno to Napoli. The Serie A side is scheduled to meet with the Italian defender’s agency soon.

Buongiorno has had a fantastic season for Torino FC, and his defensive abilities are undeniable. The 24-year-old has made 31 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist for his squad.

Buongiorno is a superb defender, and his 1.90m height makes him an aerial threat as well as an exceptional shot blocker. Furthermore, the Italian may obstruct passing channels on defence, making it difficult for the opposing team to penetrate.

His goal contributions demonstrate that Alessandro is a threat in the last third. When the 24-year-old distributes the ball out of defence, it’s clear that his game is more than just defending.

However, other teams have taken notice of the player’s qualities, and Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, and AC Milan are among those rumoured to be interested. However, the major threat at the moment is Napoli.

Tottenham will have to act quickly if they want to bring Buongiorno in this summer. If the team falls behind, there will be plenty of suitors eager to intercept and steal Allesandro for themselves.
