Archie Gray, a rumoured transfer target for Liverpool, is expected to FRUSTRATE any prospective suitors this summer by committing to Leeds United for at least one more season.
It has been conjectured that the Championship team, with their unstable financial situation and the fact they were not promoted back to the Premier League at the first attempt, would consider offers for a number of its best players.
Along with Crysencio Summerville, the EFL’s Championship player of the year, Gray has been linked to the Reds. Summerville, a striker from the Netherlands, is reputedly valued at roughly £35 million.
Given that his contract runs until 2028 and that he is one of the most exciting talents in the English game at the age of 18, Gray might wind up costing a lot more.
Last season, he participated in 52 games across all competitions for the Whites, which culminated in a heartbreaking Championship playoff matchup at Wembley versus Southampton.

“Look at Liverpool, who have a close relationship with the Gray family. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the player, his family, and others in his immediate vicinity respect the Liverpool employees with whom he has come into contact, especially top scout Barry Hunter.
“The Gray family believes that Leeds United is the best place for him, so changing that will require something very special—or urgent from a financial standpoint—from Leeds.”
