Skipp prefers regular minutes.

After six years with the Spurs first squad, Oliver Skipp is reportedly considering leaving the club where he has spent his entire senior career.

Football.According to London, Skipp has grown tired of being benched on a regular basis and is eager to leave Spurs if it means getting consistent playing time next season.

Tottenham will need to address their domestic quota first.

According to a new rumor published on Sunday (21/7/24), Spurs are eager to sell Skipp, who would generate a 100% profit due to his progression through the club’s academy. (football Insider)

However, the Premier League requires you to have eight ‘homegrown’ players in your squad, and selling Skipp would reduce Tottenham’s roster to seven.

Leicester appear to be interested in buying, as Steve Cooper attempts to fill the void created by top player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s departure from Chelsea to join Enzo Maresca.

Premier League will need to locate a homegrown classified player to compensate for Skipp’s departure before releasing the 23-year-old, leaving Spurs short and in a weak negotiating position.
