Lucas Bergvall joined Tottenham in January, and it’s fair to say there’s a lot of buzz surrounding this young man.
The Swedish midfielder has joined his colleagues for pre-season training, and he is immediately impressing. Mikey Moore hailed Bergvall following his Tottenham debut earlier this month, and the midfielder appears to be excelling behind the scenes as well.
Dean Jones spoke with the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast about Bergvall and how he is perceived within Tottenham.
According to the journalist, Bergvall has made a strong impression at Spuers, and everyone in the club believes he will be a future star, citing his technical abilities.

According to Jones, Spurs officials are quite impressed with the young midfielder.
“Bergvall, they believe he will be terrific; it’s that easy. To be honest, they believe this player is a future star. I’m not sure how quickly they expect that to happen in the Premier League. This is what I’m hearing; everyone is quite impressed with his technical talents,” Jones added.
Ange Postecoglou has also praised the youngster publicly.
“He’s been eager to get over here. He’s come in and looked really good in training,” Postecoglou stated earlier this month. I’m delighted to have him in the group.
We thought he’d have a lot to contribute; not only is he a superb young player, but he also has a strong desire to work and progress.”
