Leeds United is interested in signing AC Milan defender Fode Ballo-Toure, who is now training alone, according to Calcio Mercato.
On July 29, the Italian newspaper revealed that the Senegal left-back and AC Milan had struck an agreement for him to train alone until an exit was decided upon.
But Watford and Besiktas are also in the running for the 27-year-old defensive midfielder before the transfer window ends, so the West Yorkshire team isn’t the only one chasing for him.
Before moving to Leeds United, Fode Ballo-Toure trains by himself.
This summer, the Whites need to fortify their defense. Although Joe Rodon has already been added, it is insufficient on its own. Max Wober appears to be staying with the team for the upcoming campaign, but more reinforcements are required since Jayden Bogle is the only new full-back.
The West Yorkshire squad’s defense was one of its stronger points last season, and with more help at left-back, the team would be almost ready to win. Ballo-Toure would give the defensive line some more experience and could perhaps put Junior Firpo in competition for the starting job.
To add to the sweetness, the AC Milan player is also capable of playing in the center of defense in the event that one or more Leeds players are injured. Overall, the defender would be a fantastic addition to the team should Leeds follow through on their wish to sign him.
In other Leeds news, following Jayden Bogle’s departure, Daniel Farke already wants two more signings.
