Carragher makes a concerning assessment regarding Postecoglou’s Tottenham team: “They are in danger.”

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham are in risk of being viewed as flat-track bullies, according to Jamie Carragher.

The North London team has won its previous three games to make up for a sluggish start to the new campaign. If they can defeat Erik ten Hag‘s Manchester United away from home on Sunday, things might get even better. However, they haven’t exactly had a stellar record when playing the best Premier League teams since Ange Postecoglou took over. Despite their offensive and visually appealing style of play, Spurs have not been able to produce the required results against opponents in the top half of the table.
Jamie Carragher has brought attention to the fact that Spurs, under the Australian manager, have found it difficult to obtain wins over the best clubs in his most recent column for The Telegraph.

“Over Postecoglou’s 18 games against the clubs which finished in the top nine last season, Spurs have won four,” the former Liverpool

player stated in an article published on The Telegraph. They run the risk of being perceived as unmotivated bullies. That needs to alter.

Under the former Celtic manager, Tottenham did manage to finish in fifth place the previous season, and they have been playing some very good football. However, they have not been able to overcome their competitors. They need to perform well in the major games, as evidenced by the fact that they have only won four of their eighteen games against clubs that were in the top nine previous season. They will not be able to compete with the nation’s best teams unless they can defeat their immediate opponents. Tottenham will face a formidable opponent in United; victory would allow Postecoglou to prevent his club from being associated with being bullies who lack skill.
