Real Madrid will enter the competition for a best striker in Europe

Real Madrid is still looking for a natural number nine to replace Karim Benzema in the long run, despite having finally signed Kylian Mbappe this summer. Since Mbappe, a left-winger by nature, is having trouble adjusting to playing in the middle of a front three, the team may decide to hunt for a natural striker.

Joselu was a natural striker who Real Madrid could count on to come in and score important goals when they needed them last season. However, the team is in dire need of a goal-scoring striker as Joselu is leaving for Qatar in the summer.

Real Madrid did recruit Endrick this summer who is a natural striker, but the teenager has struggled to find his footing in the team. With both attacking signings struggling in the number nine position, Real Madrid look set to join the race for one of the top goal scoring strikers in Europe.

Real Madrid will enter the competition for one of the best attackers in Europe.

As the team continues to look for a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema, Fichajes reports that Real Madrid will join Liverpool and Barcelona in a fierce competition to sign Marcus Thuram, a striker for Inter Milan.

Thuram is already enjoying a fantastic season, scoring 10 goals and dishing out three assists in just his second season in Serie A. Just three goals separate the Frenchman and his total from the previous season. The attacker for Inter Milan has been steadily establishing himself as one of Europe’s best strikers over the last two seasons.

Thuram is currently valued at €65 million, and other elite European teams like Real Madrid, Liverpool, and Barcelona have taken notice of his impressive play for Inter Milan. Thuram’s current deal with the Italian team expires in 2028, although Inter Milan might be persuaded to trade the attacker for cash if a sizable offer is made.
