Tottenham confirms that the game has been postponed; the new date will be revealed.

The Tottenham Under-18 team has confirmed that their Premier League matchup with Arsenal has been postponed.

Just hours before kickoff on Saturday, January 11, Spurs made their announcement via the Tottenham Hotspur Academy X account. A new date versus their direct opponents will be disclosed later.

With Callum Olusesi scoring the first goal and goals from Damola Ajayi and Gabriel Willhoft-King in the closing seconds of the game, the Lilywhites pulled off an amazing comeback in the rematch.

Arsenal vs. Tottenham youngsters match postponed
This will be a major setback for the jewels who are just beginning to regain their form, as the young Spurs team is vying for the top spot in the Premier League U18 table.

The young Lilywhites are now undefeated in their previous three league games after suffering consecutive losses to West Ham United and West Brom.
The club would have been confident going into their match against the Gunners after earning seven points from matches against Norwich City, Chelsea, and Leicester City.
If the last encounter promised anything, it was goals. Up until the 87th minute, Arsenal appeared to have all three points, but they lost them in the opening minute of extra time.

The London rivals’ last three encounters have all been won by Spurs, and a win would have put the Lilywhites one point behind league leaders Aston Villa.
Even if he is wary of elevating too many young players to the first team, Ange Postecoglou has a ton of interesting options if he decides to use the academy to address his current predicament.
Given the absence of Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Cristian Romero, and Micky van de Ven, it will be intriguing to watch which players are called up to play Tamworth on Sunday, January 12.

For all those young people with big dreams, players like Mikey Moore, Alfie Dorrington, and Will Lankshear provide a clear route to the first team.

In unrelated Tottenham news, pictures of the team’s uniform for the upcoming season were leaked online, prompting the club to sever its relationship with Nike.
