Leeds is in a strong position to get a Tottenham hero at a discounted price.

Despite Tottenham‘s continuous defensive problems, Leeds has a good chance of acquiring Ben Davies during the summer window.

Given Daniel Farke‘s indications that Leeds might make additions this month and the uncertainty surrounding Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham, Davies may want to consider other options.

Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, Ben Jacobs stated that a move for the 31-year-old may be interesting to watch.

Ben Davies might start working for Leeds in January.
“I believe that Ben Davies will also be leaving. The same is true for Fraser Forster, he added.

It makes sense to extend the contract with Davies. Leeds United is still considering it. In the upcoming weeks, that might be something to keep an eye on.

However, I believe that Kinsky’s arrival pushes Forster down in the hierarchy.
This season, the Welshman has only made 11 appearances in all competitions (transfermarkt), clocking in at a pitiful 849 minutes.

Indeed, his current contract expires in June, giving him the freedom to decide where he wants to go next. Despite his advanced age, he is still a desirable free agent.

Leeds appears to have the go-ahead to recruit the talented teenager!

But with Leeds leading the Championship and playing well right now, there’s a good chance the all-whites may re-enter the Premier League at the end of the 2024–2025 season if they were to sign the seasoned center-back in January.

There is currently no formal bid for Ben Davies.
Although the North Londoners have not yet received a formal bid, Spurs Web values him at around £10 million, so Daniel Farke would undoubtedly be getting a steal.
There is still plenty of time to finish the deal, as there are less than three weeks left to do so.

Davies should be allowed to walk on if Ange Postecoglou isn’t going to employ him during Spurs‘ time of need.
