Nathan Patterson has returned.
Nathan Patterson made only 13 league games for Rangers before being signed by Everton in January 2022 for £11.5 million (with a potential increase to £16 million). He could be leaving Goodison Park after a frustrating three years since the Toffees are looking to sign a new right back.
That is a boost for Patterson, whose former Everton manager Sean Dyche stated he could only depart if a replacement was found. He continues to battle for playing time, having made only six Premier League appearances this season off the bench.
Reports suggest he is open to leaving Everton too as he searches for more game time in an attempt to catch Steve Clarke’s eye and return to the Scotland set-up. A homecoming at the Ibrox could be the right move for the versatile 23-year-old, as playing in an environment he already knows could prove key in regaining his form and confidence.
