Jurgen Klinsmann asserts that Spurs have a player who can replace Mo Salah in the lineup.

Son Heung-min is unquestionably capable of becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s Mohamed Salah and scoring the majority of the team’s goals from wide positions, according to Jurgen Klinsmann.

After Ange Postecoglou‘s team had an exceptionally strong start to the season, earning four points from their first two games, Klinsmann spoke to ESPN.

However, Son Heung-min is one of a number of attacking players in the Tottenham lineup who have not yet netted a goal in those two games. In actuality, just three Spurs players—Cristian Romero, Emerson Royal, and Pape Matar Sarr—have scored goals thus far.

Richarlison‘s front-line performances have undoubtedly drawn a lot of attention as a result. Of course, the onerous responsibility of attempting to fill Harry Kane’s shoes falls to the Brazilian.

Klinsmann supports Son as the Salah of Tottenham.
Steve Nicol said as a result that Tottenham would be hoping Son can emulate Mo Salah‘s performance for Liverpool. In his time at Anfield, the Egyptian has never had a season with fewer than 19 league goals.

For Son to contribute in the same way would be a great ask. When questioned whether the 31-year-old can perform that duty for Postecoglou‘s team, Klinsmann responded strongly.

Certainly, he can. He’s already demonstrated it, he told ESPN. “Obviously, now that Harry Kane is gone, it’s a little bit fresh to him. He was the star player on that team for ten years. Son was able to move around and enter the box while standing close to him. They were conversant with one another.

Richarlison

And now that he has left, he needs to come to terms with Richarlison, particularly, or with Maddison. Therefore, it will take some time.

Son and Salah were co-winners of the golden boot trophy not long ago. Therefore, that strongly implies that the South Korean international can perform.

The issue will be that Son did have such a challenging campaign the previous year. He scored 10 goals in total for the season. But he’ll be the first to acknowledge that he fell well short of expectations.

He is now the leader of Tottenham. He also possesses the capacity to step into Kane‘s talisman position.

It’s obvious that Klinsmann thinks Son might have a great year if everything works together.
