Kostas Tsimikas, a left-back, may succeed Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool, according to Mark Lawrenson
Early on in the season, Liverpool’s right back struggled with his performance, prompting calls for his dismissal. In an interview with Off The Ball, Lawrenson said that Tsimikas might take Alexander-Arnold’s place.
We are all aware of Tsimikas’s prowess as a player. They’ve occasionally let Robertson play outside. He can play right-back and is two-footed, so I imagine he’s threatening Trent with something along the lines of, “Don’t worry about me standing in for Robertson; I might be the one who takes over from you,” the former Reds player added.

Actually, this isn’t the first time Lawrenson has suggested anything like this. After Tsimikas performed admirably in Liverpool’s FA Cup quarterfinal victory against Nottingham Forest in March, the analyst made the assertion.
Though it’s not entirely clear from whence he’s getting this. We have only ever seen Kostas play left-back for Liverpool thus far.
He appears to have a good right foot, but he still strongly prefers to place it on his left. He very well could. He has only made two starts so far this season, but he has three assists. using only his left.

Moving Tsimikas to the right would appear much more logical in light of that choice. Even if it still seems unlikely, it might be a smart strategy to keep Trent on his toes nonetheless.
