Wednesday night, the Premier League team made a fresh offer for the 25-year-old midfielder in the amount of €34m plus bonuses. Sangaré is still unsure of his desire to quit the club.
Today in London, discussions between the two clubs took place, but PSV has made their feelings known. Even if the Eredivisie club accepts Sangaré’s offer of at least €37.5 million, it will be up to the Ivory Coast international to decide whether or not he wants to leave the Philips Stadion.

Sangaré participated in PSV’s 5-1 victory over Rangers on Wednesday. The victory allowed the Dutch powerhouses to advance to the Champions League group stages for the first time since 2018. If Sangaré is forced to choose between staying or leaving, Champions League play could be a major consideration. PSV was placed in a group with Arsenal, Sevilla, and Lens.

Since joining PSV from Toulouse in 2020, Sangaré has been an essential member of the team. The player’s current contract has four more years left on it. Ibrahim Sangaré played 45 times across all competitions for PSV last season, which finished second in the Eredivisie and won the KNVB Cup. The 31-time Ivory Coast international contributed three assists in addition to eight goals.

Themidfielder’s future will be decided in the next 24 hours, but as of right now, it appears that Sangaré will remain in Eindhoven.
