Evan Ferguson has been ruled out of International duties with the Republic of Ireland’s upcoming matches against France and Netherlands.

Evan Ferguson picked up a knee injury during the 3-1 victory of Brighton against Newcastle last week, he netted the three goals.

He joined up with his International team on Sunday but following his injury, he was assessed by the national team medical staff and has been withdrawn from the squad for the International duties.

Evan Ferguson is now expected to return to Brighton, where he will be fully assessed and then know if he can feature in the next match. Ferguson will be desperate to be fit for Albion’s next match against Manchester United at Old Trafford on September 16, followed by Brighton’s first ever Europa league match against a Greece club AEK Athens at the Amex stadium on September 21. The Seagulls fans will be optimistic for his return for their next match against Manchester United.
