The midfielder said that he is enjoying every minute of his time in the Leeds first squad and is benefiting from the experience of being surrounded by seasoned pros. This season, he has started seven of the eight Championship games and is highly regarded at Elland Road.
Gray comes from a family steeped in Leeds history with his father, grandfather and grand uncle representing the Whites. He conceded that he has been dreaming of playing for Leeds since he was young and he had to live up to the family tradition. “Yes, pretty much yes [I had to fulfil my destiny], ever since I was young. “Watched my dad play, heard about you [Eddie] playing and my granddad Frank and I have always tried to live up to it.” Gray has made ten senior appearances for Leeds and has been tipped to have a bright career ahead of him.
