Leeds United have joined Burnley and Leicester City in planning to sue Everton for breaking Premier League spending restrictions, which resulted in all three clubs being relegated.
The Whites are seeking for an immediate return to the Premier League after being demoted to the Championship in May, with Leicester City also falling victim to an Everton last-day triumph.
Leeds and Burnley were both dissatisfied with their financial troubles, which saw them go way past FFP spending rules during their two-year struggle against relegation with the Toffees.

As a result of Burnley‘s relegation in May 2022, Leeds and the Clarets dropped their complaint to the Premier League about Everton‘s expenditure, only for an independent probe to take place at Goodison Park in the meantime.

According to the Daily Mail, the Whites have joined forces with the Foxes and Burnley to write a combined letter to 777 asking if they are aware of intentions to suit the Toffees over this ongoing financial disagreement.
