The Whites fared exceedingly well in the summer window to not only replace the departing players with necessary numbers, but also ended up better in most areas.

Daniel Farke‘s main concern in the summer was centre-back, but he now appears to have a solid and secure partnership in Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon.

Will Max Wöber be permanently sold?
Away from Elland Road, Leeds fans have little time for Max Wöber, who vowed to stay at the club after relegation, only to jump ship at the first sign of a club desiring him in the top flight.

Joe Rodon

He’s doing well for his new Bundesliga team, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Rheinische Post reports that the defender, who is presently valued at £12.6 million, is someone Farke’s previous club should be trying to recruit.

His efforts have earned him a following at Monchengladbach, and the report urges the club to make him a regular fixture.

Will it contribute to the purchase of Rodon?
If that is the case, Leeds simply cannot turn down a fee of £12.6 million because not only would we earn from a failed signing, but he also funds other company.

Rodon, one of Leeds‘ most key defenders, is now on loan, and when his loan arrangement expires, he will very certainly be surplus to requirements at Tottenham.

He’ll want to locate a new permanent home, and the money coming in for Wöber should go a long way towards covering the expense of Rodon, if not completely covering it.

His contract will expire in the summer of 2024, which means we may not have to pay exorbitant fees to get him in.
