Birmingham City are planning an offer for a recent Rangers acquisition, according to the latest EFL Championship transfer news.
Former Birmingham City academy player Jack Butland is reportedly one of Wayne Rooney‘s first acquisitions at St Andrew‘s Stadium. The former England international custodian made his debut for Blues in 2010 before joining Stoke City in 2013. He’s now expected to make a remarkable comeback.
Butland, who only recently joined Scottish Premiership giants Rangers, is thought to be a major target for Rooney as the new Birmingham manager seeks a new goalkeeper. There are presently just two options at the club, and both have contracts that expire at the end of the current season.
