Journalist Jorge Nicola has revealed some information regarding Corinthians’ transfer activity. It appears the club is asserting that Nottingham Forest has not yet made payment for Murillo.

This is because Corinthians is anticipated to face a transfer ban for failing to pay installments for the signing of Argentinean player Fausto Vera.
The Brazilian side reportedly stated they are awaiting money from Nottingham Forest for Murillo in order to clarify the situation. Corinthians say they didn’t see the money for that deal, or for Lucas Piton’s move to Vasco da Gama, according to Nicola.
That account doesn’t appear to hold much weight with the journalist, who remarks that “it’s strange to see an English club delaying payments.” That might be a bluff from Corinthians, who wouldn’t think Nottingham Forest would take notice of their allegations.
