Ange claims that the 22-year-old Tottenham hotshot is ‘growing stronger’ in training.

Ange Postecoglou, manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has lauded Bryan Gil, stating he may be “really important” for Spurs.

Tottenham manager told football.london that the 22-year-old has been “working really hard” in training and hinted that he could play next week.

Spurs don’t play again in the Premier League until Monday night, when they welcome Fulham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Lilywhites, on the other hand, have a rapid turnaround, travelling to Crystal Palace four days later on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Gil has returned to the Spurs lineup after missing the start of the season due to a groin ailment that required surgery.

The Spaniard was on the bench for Tottenham’s win over Luton Town before the international break, but he did not play.

‘Excellent for us.’

With two games in five days, Postecoglou will almost certainly employ his entire squad.

Furthermore, the Spurs manager is already missing Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic owing to injuries.

When asked what role Gil would play in the next months, Tottenham manager  responded, “He can be really important for us.”

“Like I said, it’s been great having him just working really hard at training the last couple of weeks.”

“He’s missed the entire season thus far, and it’s well documented that we’ve lost Ivan and Manor, who play in that left wing position.” It’s terrific to have Bryan back in shape and available.

“I guess he’s in the same boat as everyone else because he’ll be presented with an opportunity and then it’ll be up to him.”

“He certainly meets all of the criteria and credentials to play in that position for us, and, as I mentioned, his training is progressing, he’s part of the group, and I’m confident he’ll get an opportunity.”

We have a Monday night game and then a Friday night game, so we’ll definitely need a substantial portion of the squad to play those two games in the next five or six days.”

In our opinion
Tottenham fans will undoubtedly be excited to see Gil in action under Postecoglou.

The 22-year-old is a dynamic athlete who has shown glimpses of his talent.

Gil, for example, was dubbed a “little superstar” by Graham Roberts in his early days at the club.

Gil was later loaned out, and his future at Spurs appeared to be in doubt for a time.

With Postecoglou currently in charge, the winger should get another chance to shine at N17.
