Leeds United will seek to make it four victories in a row when they visit Stoke City on Wednesday night.
Daniel Farke‘s side head to the Potters after a stunning comeback triumph at Norwich City on Saturday, where they came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in the dying minutes.
Prior to the international break, Leeds had defeated both Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City at Elland Road, indicating that they are finally gaining traction.
Leeds have not won four games in a row since the end of the 2020/21 Premier League season under Marcelo Bielsa, but they face a Stoke side that has found some form recently.
Stoke City won 2-1 at Sunderland on Saturday, their second win in four games after losing four of their previous five.
Prutton forecasts the Stoke-Leeds encounter.
David Prutton has chosen his former club Leeds to earn another three points at the bet365 Stadium in his latest weekly predictions piece for Sky Sports.
“That was a huge result for Alex Neil on Saturday,” he wrote. A win over his former Sunderland side was much needed and should boost their morale.
“However, they face a Leeds side that is in form and showed resilience against Norwich on Saturday, coming back from two down to win 3-2.” This is another three points for Leeds, and I don’t think it will be as difficult for them as it was at Carrow Road. “The score is Stoke 0-2 Leeds.”
Stoke will surely feel a lot better about themselves after such a great win over a promotion contender in Sunderland on Saturday, as Prutton alluded to.
However, Leeds are starting to click in attack under Farke, and with the options he has at his disposal, they will pose issues for any team in this level.
If the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter, and others are in the mood, the Whites should win again on Wednesday night.
