Alan Brazil believes the former Leeds United manager will receive an offer to lead Sheffield United. “It’s a certainty.”

Alan Brazil informed Neil Warnock on TalkSPORT that he believes he will be awarded the Sheffield United manager’s job, and Warnock has responded – putting pressure on ex-Leeds United manager Paul Heckingbottom.

Neil Warnock

Heckingbottom, 46, was Leeds manager for 16 games until Marcelo Bielsa arrived at Elland Road. He was hired by Leeds after impressing at Barnsley, although he only won four of 16 games.

Since then, he has managed Hibernian in Scotland until taking over as temporary manager at Sheffield United in 2021. He has since played 105 matches in all, winning 51 of them.

Heckingbottom

Last season, he led the Blades to promotion, finishing second to Vincent Kompany‘s Burnley. Heckingbottom’s squad has lost nine of ten Premier League games this season, earning only one point.

Heckingbottom is under pressure, and there are calls for the Blades hierarchy to change. Brazil informed Warnock, who led Leeds from February 2012 to April 2013, that he would be offered the position.

Former Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has been told that he will be offered a job at Sheffield United.
“You know you’re going to get a call from Bramall Lane; it’s a foregone conclusion.” I don’t enjoy talking about someone’s employment, thus no win in ten. “That would be difficult to say no to, Neil,” Brazil said to Warnock.

Heckingbottom

Warnock, who departed Huddersfield earlier this season, is a legend at Bramall Lane after an eight-year tenure that lasted 388 games. He responded on TalkSPORT by defending Heckingbottom.

Paul Heckingbottom is doing an outstanding job, and I don’t believe anyone can do any better with the resources he has.” He lost his two best players over the summer, and a slew of names have been floated.

“I’m sure they’re all vying for the job.” But I believe the Prince will play a few more games with him. That is entirely correct. I believe he is deserving of it. Because he hasn’t spent much money. “I’m rooting for Paul.”
