Pascal Struijk is set to leave Leeds United in January, with his transfer fee reduced by £2.6 million.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk is “interested” in joining Club Brugge ahead of the January transfer window.
The journalist issued an update on the Unibet Belgium YouTube channel (15 November), saying that Club Brugge, who were interested in signing Struijk during the summer, are still interested in him.
Struijk, who is “interested” in the move, might be available for £13.1 million, with Tavolieri saying that the Belgian’s “price has gone down” since the summer, when he was rated at £15.7 million.
It remains to be seen whether the Jupiler Pro League club will agree to match that amount in January.

Allowing Struijk to go in the middle of the season may come back to bite those at Elland Road. Struijk was a player that may have left the club after the club was relegated from the Premier League, but a move never materialised.
Instead, he has been a staple in Daniel Farke‘s side this season, starting each of the club’s 15 Championship games, and with the Whites finding some rhythm and climbing up the Championship table, disrupting the team may be a decision they come to regret.
His efforts could help the Whites regain their Premier League status, which would be more valuable than any cash they could obtain for him in January. While it is reasonable that he would want to return to his birth country and play for a European club, Farke may be able to persuade him to stay at least until the conclusion of the season.
