Leeds United are back in action this evening, travelling to managerless Rotherham United.
Daniel Farke faces a selection dilemma ahead of the game, with five players returning to full training in the last week and Georginio Rutter a major doubt.
Farke did not rule out Rutter entirely, but he will not risk him unless he is fully fit, with the busy December period just around the corner.
Leeds United travel to South Yorkshire looking to make it four Championship wins in a row after beating Huddersfield Town, Leicester City, and Plymouth Argyle before the break.
Here is our predicted starting lineup for the game.
Goalkeeper
Illan Meslier continues in goal after a nice little break over the international period.
Defence
Farke faces a number of big calls at the back with Djed Spence, Pascal Struijk and Sam Byram all having returned to training after their respective injury lay-offs.
Spence is unlikely to be thrown straight in from the start given how long he has been out, and so the ‘refreshed’ Archie Gray will continue at right-back.
On the other flank, Byram is not the type of player Farke will want to risk too soon, meaning Junior Firpo comes in for his first start of the season.
Struijk, meanwhile, only missed one match due to surgery on a hernia but it would not be a surprise if Liam Cooper keeps his place for this game alongside Joe Rodon
Midfield
Farke is dissatisfied with the short turnaround time for his Welsh contingent for this game, and despite having had no training session, Ethan Ampadu starts in midfield.
Glen Kamara is likely to start alongside him after getting an extra 24 hours of rest following Finland’s win in San Marino.
Attack
Rutter is expected to miss this game, so Patrick Bamford could make his first start of the season, though Willy Gnonto will be pushing after his good form for Italy U21s.
Crysencio Summerville, Dan James, and Joel Piroe round out the front four.
Predicted XI: Meslier; Gray, Rodon, Cooper, Firpo; Ampadu, Kamara; James, Piroe, Summerville, Bamford
