Leeds United loanees will appear in court in Yorkshire one month apart.

Leeds United loanees are scheduled to return to Yorkshire for court appearances in December and January, both for alleged driving offences.

Rasmus Kristensen and Brenden Aaronson

Rasmus Kristensen and Brenden Aaronson, who each used contract clauses to facilitate loan moves to European clubs over the summer, are scheduled to appear in court in December and January, respectively. Kristensen, 26, is on loan at Roma in the Italian Serie A and has started six of their 13 league games this season, while Brenden Aaronson, 23, is on loan at Bundesliga club Union Berlin in Germany.

Rasmus Kristensen

Since the start of the season, the 38-times capped US Men’s National Team player has made just four Bundesliga starts for the team currently sitting 17th in the table, as well as one Champions League start. He recently told The Athletic that he believes he has a future at Leeds United. They were previously teammates at RB Salzburg in Austria and joined the club as new signings in the summer of 2022.

Brenden Aaronson

Kristensen‘s case is scheduled for December 5 at Harrogate Magistrates Court for an alleged speeding offence on the A6040 Knaresborough Road on February 19, 2023, when a disqualification will be considered. Aaronson‘s case, which is scheduled to be heard in Harrogate Magistrates Court on January 3, involves two offences, and disqualification will be considered. The first offence is for allegedly exceeding 30mph on March 12, this year, and the second is for allegedly failing to provide information relating to the identification of a vehicle’s driver when required on August 9, 2023.

After pleading guilty to driving while disqualified, their Leeds United teammate Ian Poveda was sentenced to 140 hours of unpaid work by a court in October. Poveda was given a six-month driving ban and a community order for 140 hours of unpaid work, as well as a victim surcharge and court costs, but no fine was imposed.
